How to Knit a DISHCLOTH | A Checkered Square Pattern

How about something quick but with modifications that suit what you need? A squared checkered dishcloth that can be modified to size per what you want. The video shows how to make a 10"x10" dishcloth.
The pattern is a 10 row checkered pattern that is repeated till you achieve your desired length.
*Steps*
cast on 63 stitches
Row 1: k1, p1 all the way to end of row
Row 2: p1, k1 all the way to end of row
Repeat rows 1-2 one more time to get total of 4 rows.
*Checkered pattern*
Row 5: p1, k1, p1, *(3p, 6k), repeat * till 3 stitches remaining, 1p, 1k, 1p
Row 6: 1k, 1p, 1k, *(3k, 6p), repeat * till 3 stitches remaining, 1k, 1p, 1k
Repeat Rows5-6 one more time (total of 4 rows)
Row 9: 1p, 1k, 1p, *(3k, 6p), repeat * till 3 stitches remaining, 1p, 1k, 1p
Row 10: 1k, 1p, 1k, *(3p, 6k), repeat * till 3 stitches remaining, 1p, 1k, 1p
Repeat Rows 9-10 for 3 times (total of 6 rows)
Repeat Rows 5-10 till reach desired length (9.5" in this case)
Repeat Rows 1-2 for 4 rows to complete the dishcloth (0.5" length)
Bind off
