This past weekend supermodel Naomi Campbell spoke out in defence of her reputation by saying: “When people ask me why I was so tricky it was what I had to do. Pushing was a way of life as a black woman… In New York I couldn’t even get a cab.” But do our panel also worry about being viewed as ‘tricky’? Brenda believes Black women have, and will continue to be, seen to be as difficult. In contrast, Kelle thinks it’s possible to advocate for yourself without being rude.
