Using a Shemagh for Hiking! (Instead of a Buff?)

"Cotton Kills!" is a famous motto of hikers and backpackers everywhere, but my favorite new piece of gear this year is made of that very thing. Although I remain a big fan of synthetic buffs, there is a lot to be said to for the middle eastern shemagh. Whether you are hiking in the heat or out on a spec ops mission in the desert, the shemagh might be just what you need to stay cool!
