The Tretinoin purge is real and something that may have to be dealt with while using Tretinoin cream or gel at any percentage. I'm sharing how I dealt with the purge and what my purging experience was like. I hope this video helps anybody using Retin-A or thinking about it.
I completely understand how it feels to go through skin purging and not knowing when the skin purge stage ends or if tretinoin will help massively with acne scars and hyperpigmentation.
In this video I encourage you to leave a comment explaining how your skin purge or general skin concerns have affected your behaviour.
The poll I shared on my community tab showed that many of you alter your behaviour or interact differently with people because of your skin, or more so - how you feel about your skin.
Acne itself is hard but paired with purgining from your acne treatment... it sucks!!
Skin purging is common with other retinoids due to the nature of what a retinoid does to your skin. Therefore, purging is often a side effect of using prescription retinoids.🙃
