In this video we look at the process to create a 3D model and the toolpaths to machine it so that they can be cut on a rotary axis setup on a CNC. Starting with a simple profile for our shape we'll look at how to create the 3D model and toolpaths to cut that. Then we'll make some design modifications to add a square and octagonal cross section to the design. This will cover how to visualize the part in the rotary orientation to check it looks correct before outputting the toolpaths.
