Testing out the new Wood Stove

3-19-16 Today I test burned the Pleasant Hearth 1200 wood stove.  I used dry kindling with newspaper.  The first two burns are only supposed to get to 250ºF to slowly cure the paint.  Today's fire will be a full burn, which is supposed to be 500ºF.  As far as smoke goes, we'll have to see how well it gets up to temperature and if I have enough draft.  The dented Selkirk stove pipe was unfortunate, but, I got $30 off for being dented.  Thanks a lot for watching to all my viewers.
