Laptop not tuning on no led no light no signs of life | How to test a dead laptop motherboard

This laptop wont turn on even when plugged in.
In this youtube video tutorial I will show you how to test a laptop not turning on and there are no led lights, no signs of life.
Although the laptop charger is working, the laptop is not turning on when plugged in. It is possible that the laptop is dead, more precisely the laptop motherboard is dead.
In this youtube video tutorial we will use a digital multimeter to test the laptop motherboard. If you do not have a digital multimeter, it is very difficult to test the laptop motherboard, unless you can find a similar working motherboard and swap them to test.
First make sure that power is coming from the mains socket into the laptop charger. Each laptop charger will have its own voltage output ad DC voltage, in this case its 19V, and this is what we are measuring with the digital multimeter. We find out that although power is coming into the charging port and charging cable of the laptop, when testing on the motherboard terminal for power we are not getting the same 19V DC voltage, meaning that something on the motherboard, or the whole motherboard is damaged, and the easier option will be to replace the motherboard.
You can always take it to a professional board technician for a further diagnosis for a possible board repair.
Remember that any and all electronics repair come with risk, so consult a professional if in doubt, otherwise do at your own risk. Please make sure that all personal data is backed up before attempting any repair.

In this youtube video tutorial I will show you how to test a laptop not turning on and there are no led lights, no signs of life.
Although the laptop charger is working, the laptop is not turning on when plugged in. It is possible that the laptop is dead, more precisely the laptop motherboard is dead.
