This is the our third tutorial on FluidSIM software. We initially show how single and double acting cylinders work and what are the main differences of these two actuators. In addition, we show how the forces of single and double acting cylinders can be calculated theoretically and discuss the differences of actual and theoretical forces of actuators in pneumatic systems.
The second part of the video is focused on these two components inside the FluidSIM software.
It is shown how we can adjust these two actuators based on the applications in the considered system. A detailed discussion is given about configuring single acting and double acting cylinders. In addition, we briefly cover the role cushioning in these actuators.
