Sealing Our New Asphalt Driveway - do we need a second coat now?

According to the "expert" advice found on the Web, you should wait at least 90 days before sealing a new asphalt driveway. Our driveway was installed on April 18, which meets this recommendation. The weather on Sunday, 23 August (my birthday) was perfect for applying Ultra Shield Driveway Filler Sealer that we purchased at Home Depot. The manufacturer states that the product will cover 300-400 sq. feet on new asphalt. Unfortunately, that math did not work out for our 700 sq. foot driveway - it took 4 1/4 buckets. Although the results are acceptable, you can see the overlaps. Maybe a second coat would cover this up?
