American Airlines Trip Report flying from Miami to Dallas onboard one of the American Airlines Boeing 777 on a nice and beautiful morning over the United States, from Florida to Texas.
A very comfortable flight from Miami to Dallas Fort Worth onboard one of the American Airlines Boeing 777-200ER. A flight on a Boeing 777 is always very comfortable. Now, if you have a just 3 hours flight on it, that will be a great flight. So that was the case on today's flight to Texas.
The great experience started already at Miami airport. Especially the airside is really nice and beautiful for walking while watching some planes. That was the first part of the trip: an amazing planespotting session at Miami International Airport. The light helped us a lot as well in that, as we enjoyed the golden early-morning light.
The flight itself was fantastic. After a nice taxi in Miami airport, we took off towards the East, in other words, towards Miami downtown. The views of Miami city were more than amazing! They were absolutely amazing! We also flew in parallel to Miami Beach... what to say. It was fantastic. A perfect way to start the flight!
From Miami, we flew in a northwest course heading towards Tampa. The views there were also amazing. We then started to fly over the Gulf of Mexico towards New Orleans. From there, we left Houston in our left and flew in an almost direct course to Dallas. The approach and landing in Dallas, despite the clouds around, were really nice as well. Quite windy, but nothing that our B777 couldn't withstand.
In terms of service onboard, it looks like US legacy airlines offer exactly the same service in the economy cabin. 1 service of drinks and 1 cookie. That was all the service on an almost 3 hours flight. I don't know... at least they could offer some other options, even if they would have to be paid...
