Making Christmas Market Mulled Wine at Home

Ever wandered around a Christmas Market, gluewein in hand, enjoying the holiday season? It can instantly get you into the Christmas season. I’m in Brussels, Belgium and the market is just a quick jaunt from my house. So, this has happened a few times already this season. Ive always wanted to have mulled wine it at home, so I’m going to try and recreate it!
Mulled wine is a staple of any Christmas market. Hot wine mixed with cinnamon, orange and lemon peel, nutmeg, cloves, boiled water and sugar, and of course, wine. Choose a dry red wine (I use a merlot) for the fruitiness and make sure not to boil!

It’s easy to make and you’ll want to drink it all fast!
