UPDATE:  I have had additional issues with the handheld wireless microphone and drop outs. I contacted Denon and they are sending me a replacement mic. It is on back order but I will test it out when it arrives and try some of their recommendations. Will do an UPDATE 2 once I have additional info.

UPDATE 2:  After replacement of the wireless mic and replacement of the entire unit, I was not able to resolve the wireless mic drop outs. Still, a great speaker but I would be prepared to look at other options for the mic.
