Bighorn National Forest is highly under rated and is one of the best places to boondock and disperse camp in the country. A perfect overlanding destination, beautiful scenery, wildlife etc. We had at least a dozen moose encounters while we explored and ran down trails. Go to bighorn instead of Yellowstone, less people more nature. Free Camping everywhere in the bighorn mountains. We found an amazing camping spot for our Nucamp Tag Teardrop trailer. Some incredible national geographic footage of the moose and other animals.
