When I went to
When I went to #Thai restaurant in #Taiwan, Me and my family always ordered this dish -- #月亮蝦餅 (Thai-style moon shrimp cake or Thai-style shrimp pancake). #Crispy outside, bouncy shrimp inside, and dip with the sweet-spicy sauce. I didn't know that It's actually not Thai food till I study abroad. My Thai friends have never cooked similar dishes, neither I can order in the Thai restaurant in Hawaii... Finally, I found out that it originates from Taiwan but not Thailand. Somehow, I started to miss this dish. Sooooo, let's make it!! #TaiwaneseFood #Cooking #WithMe
===Ingredient ===
Shrimp pancake:
* rice paper or spring roll wrap 4 sheets
* shrimp 1 lb
* potato starch (or corn starch) 2 tbsp
* egg white 1 large egg
* chopped garlic 1 tbsp
* white pepper 1/4 tsp
* salt 1/2 tsp
Sauce (adjust with your taste):
* fish sauce 1 tbsp
* sriracha 1 tbsp
* vinegar 1 tbsp
* sugar 1.5 tbsp or (honey 3 tbsp)
* chopped garlic 1 tbsp
