It was a 3 Mexican blanket night (Ft. my new off road beast AND chipmunk cuteness overload).

We are back at the cliff where I am continuing on with the insulation/outsulation, which turns out to be really just such a pain. A very tedious task, but just have to keep plugging away to get it done. I used up all of the panels of insulation that I had, and looks like I will need a couple more to finish the job. The gable end windows are now my next and most important job that must get done in the next few weeks!

I am spending a night on site, which is just so helpful and helps me feel like I can devote more time to get jobs done, but the chipmunks this time were insanely cute and I did get pretty distracted by them! 😬🤭

I forgot to bring my sleeping back back out with me (I had taken it a month or so ago for when we went alpine camping), and there is no turning back, so I had to make do with the 3 Mexican blankets I had in the shed. I was warm enough, but just warm enough. Phew. (it was about 10 degrees Celsius in the shed in the morning and about 7 outside).

I brought my new-to-me truck out for her maiden voyage, and although the drive is still miserable, it was much less miserable in my new ride. It has left me wondering what took me so long to upgrade my vehicle given the driving I have to do to get to that property. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Boiled linseed oil seems to be the solution for my rusty lockers, which I also tackle while I am there - feeling the pressure to solve that problem before winter. I also painted the white window black to match the rest of the exterior windows.
