The cast net throw is slowed down in slow motion to explain the dynamics of the throw. Captain Cody's Dad and nephew are also shown loading and throwing the cast net. Kids can use either method. The second way to throw the net works for small cast nets 3 foot, 4 foot, 5 foot and a max of 6 foot. It is called the easy cast net method. This is a similar method used when there is a metal ring just below the horn of the net. The metal ring is not needed though to use the method. At the end of the videos ballyhoo, and bunker are caught using a cast net.
