Hey everyone! In this video, I will be teaching you all how you can watch YouTube videos on your iPhone and use other apps at the same time. This is simply a picture in picture (PIP) mode or feature on your iPhone, and it is similar to apps like FaceTime. Whenever you try to leave a YouTube video on your phone from the app or the website, you are unable to watch it while using other apps. You are required to stay on the app or wherever the video is playing in order to watch it. This can get annoying sometimes since you might want to watch the video and do something else at the same time. With this method, you can basically watch any YouTube video without downloading it from your phone while you use it for other things! You can simply have a mini-player anywhere around your screen while being able to use any app! The new picture in picture feature on iOS 14 allows you to watch videos from several different apps as a mini-player on your screen. However, you can't play YouTube videos on your iPhone with this feature directly from the app. Using this technique, you can learn how to watch YouTube videos on your iPhone while using other apps, which is similar to doing a FaceTime call and keeping that to the side. You can simply play YouTube in the background while doing other things. The Chrome app will also need to be installed for this to work since you will need to use the YouTube website and not all web browsers and apps can support this feature. You can also change the size, location, audio, and several other features on the mini-player. You can also put the video to the side if you want to take a break from it and listen to the audio!
