A weekend trip over to
A weekend trip over to the south western tip of Cork along the Beara peninsula to pick up the Irish Photo Rally point #18 - Calf Rock Lighthouse Rescue Monument. I then tracked back along the coast to Caherdaniel in Kerry where I stayed the night at a nice campsite called Wave Crest. I couldn't have asked for a better camping pitch for my tent and bike. Room with a view!
The next day I planned to do most of the Ring of Kerry by doing the Ballaghbeama Gap and then the Gap of Dunloe heading up to the top of Molls Gap before heading over to Killarney to pick up Irish Photo Rally point # 19 - World Ploughing 1954 Monument. I then left Killarney heading along the Dingle peninsula towards Conor Pass which winds back down to Dingle.
I stopped for a well deserved break in Dingle before starting the 6 hour ride home.
Amazing roads, amazing views and landscapes. Epic fun on the big T7 World Raid.
The Gap of Dunloe was filmed using footage straight out of the Chigee AIO 5 Lite front and rear cameras. See my other videos for more details on this system and what a life changing device it is for me.
