A collection of daguerreotype portraits
A collection of daguerreotype portraits of US Army, US Navy, and militia officers who fought in early American wars in the late 1700's and early to mid 1800's. Most were taken by Mathew Brady, one was taken by Southworth and Hawes, one was taken by Thomas Easterly, and others were taken by unidentified photographers in the 1840's and 1850's.
