Qassem Soleimani had reportedly just gotten into Iraq from Beirut and was leaving the airport when he was killed by American drone strikes on a convoy of vehicles. The U.S. classified Soleimani as a terrorist, but in Iran he was a hero - with thousands taking to the streets after his death.
