In this video I am back in the shed making the third and final stove in this mini series on DIY wood burning camp stoves.

This episode shows the building of a powerful twin walled rocket stove. Using recycled materials, I build the inner chamber, feed port and chimney, then insert it into the outer section, packing the void with fireproof vermiculite.

On testing, the stove out-performs all the other stoves I have built - it produces a hot, powerful fire thanks to the chimney effect built in to the design and uses very little fuel to boil water and cook.  You can adjust the burn by rotating the stove so that the feed port faces the wind for higher temperature, or point it away from the wind for less power.  Although bulkier than the other two stoves in the series, it is still lightweight and highly portable.

I am absolutely thrilled with this stove - it will certainly get plenty of use, and  all made from items that would otherwise get thrown away - a winner in my book!

I hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
