How to clean your fridge freezer drip tray

If your fridge freezer smells
If your fridge freezer smells or you can see water on the floor around the fridge, then you'd need to follow this video. Most modern fridge freezers, will have a drip tray or evaporator tray above the compressor
If water dripping into the drip tray is greater than the amount of water evaporating from the drip tray, then water will overflow from the drip tray and make the floor around your fridge wet! Also, over time debris will start accumulating into the drip tray and might start smelling. So, it's a good idea to occasionally clean your drip tray. I suggest, maybe, once a year. However, removing the drip tray isn't easy because the bracket above the compressor is locking the tray. So, you won't be able to pull it upwards. And even pulling the tray towards yourself won't be easy. So, I suggest to instead try to rotate the tray in one direction. Important - Prior to start moving your fridge or touching your drip tray, please first turn off your fridge by unplugging it. The first time when trying to pull the tray, you might find it more difficult. Once, you've cleaned the tray, insert it in the straight direction in order to lock the clips at the bottom of the tray to the compressor's bracket. Check tray is secure, it not, then remove it and repeat the process until it's secure. And finally, put the plug back and turn on the fridge again. All the best!
UPDATE - For Indesit Fridge/freezer, if your drip tray is divided into 3 compartments, make sure to insert back the drainage tube back into the middle compartment for efficient evaporation.
The Bosch Lofgixx drip tray has a tiny white plastic catch on the right hand side. Pressing with a teaspoon handle let the tray slide out without any resistance. A short piece of strimmer nylon line cleared the drain hole at first try.
If you fridge has got cooling grills, vacuum/clean it, as it'll help the fridge to be more efficient and save some electricity.
