~Genetic testing my $25 Auction Horse~

Scarlett has been battling health issues since I brought her home from the sale barn.

Today I find out if they are all connected to a disease caused by a gene mutation

or

if they are all just the result of a malnourished young horse taken from her mother too soon and sold at auction.

~Scarlett was purchased from a loose horse auction in Montana about a year ago for $25! She was only a few months old and her mother was not at the sale.  She was gathered from a reservation and was completely unhandled. It has been a looooong road but she is starting to finally get acclimated to life as a domestic horse!
