How to add 2nd router
How to add 2nd router as an Access Point to the PLDT home fibr modem router? This is LAN to LAN setup. In this setup, I disabled the DHCP server, and change the 2nd router's IP address according to the PLDT router's subnet.
In this video, I set the 2nd router as an Access point. If you do not skip any part of this video you learn that disabling the DHCP server, won't affect your internet connection immediately. It will take time until the IP address lease time will expire.
I also included steps, on how to release the DHCP server-assigned IP address. Which is useful, for networking troubleshooting. Adding a 2nd router is not rocket science, but it is not easy for everyone. I hope that I simplified the process in this video.
