White still has a strange reputation for being difficult to paint. I swear on my honour as a gentleman (which, y'know, you may or may not already believe!) it's far simpler than you'd think. Conversely, if you slow down and mind your brush strokes while painting dark colours around white, it can be one of the simplest and fastest colours to paint for power armoured armies!

THE BASE: Armageddon Dust, Seraphim Sepia and then drybrush Tyrant Skull. Add tufts to taste (Army Painter do a range of very good ones for dry scrub and desert-ish bases) and paint the rim in XV-88. Done!
