I have been using a Patterson tank to develop my film for quite a while and it works fine for doing a small number of 35mm or medium format film. But once you start piling up rolls, it gets rather time consuming with the limited tank capacity and temperature regulation isn't the easiest either. So, I've upgraded to the JOBO CPP2 developing tank. The consistent rotation, exact temperature regulation of both water as well as chemicals and the ability to do up to 8 rolls of 35mm film at once are just a few of the reasons I'm really glad I have upgraded my home film developing setup.
