The Jetsons: Seasons 2 and 3 (1985-88) Intro and Outro (1080p HD)

Warner Bros. Entertainment recently remastered the 1980’s revival of The Jetsons to HD and released it in that resolution on HBO Max!

Surprisingly, the WorldVision logo previously found only in original prints of the 1985-88 episodes has been restored to those episodes for the HBO Max prints. However, both the WorldVision logo and the “Swirling Star” Hanna-Barbera logo look like they were ripped directly from videotape masters, implying that the logos were unable to be properly remastered, so the unrestored footage of those logos from older prints were merely stitched into the remastered HD prints on the service. Also, the Warner Bros. Television logo from 2003 has been tacked onto the end of every episode of the ‘80’s revival.

In case you were wondering, HBO Max uses the same prints for the original 1962-63 episodes of The Jetsons as the Blu-ray release of those episodes that came out a few months before the service launched (with no vanity plate logos; only in-credit ones). Hopefully, this surprise reveal means that the 1985-88 revival isn’t too far away from getting a Blu-ray release of its own.
