How to Make Delicious Cajun Jambalaya From A Box Of Zatarain's

Sometimes I need to make a quick dish but I always want whatever I make to taste delicious. I have found a few mixes and boxed items that I am happy to serve to my family. I am not a spokes person for any of the ingredients I’m using. I just like to share how I make tasty foods even from a box.

Ingredients
-1 lb chicken thighs no skin or bones (cut into bite size pieces)
-1 lb smoked sausage (cut into bite size pieces)
-1 1lb shrimp medium cleaned and no shell (21/25 per pound)
-1 TBS oil (corn, olive oil, canola, etc.)
-seasoning salt
-granulated garlic
-ground black pepper
-5 cups water
-2 8oz boxes of ZATARAIN’S JAMALAYA or (1-16oz box)
-large skillet

Directions
-Brown the sausage.
-Place the browned sausage in a bowl and set aside.
-Pour oil into pan that was used for browning sausage.
-Place the chicken thighs in the heated skillet and LIGHTLY season with seasoning salt, granulated garlic and pepper.
-Cook the chicken thigh pieces until done.
-Place the shrimp on top of the chicken in the pan and stir.
-Place the sausage in the pan with the shrimp and chicken and stir.
-Pour both boxes of ZATARAIN’S on top of the meat in the pan and stir.
-Pour the water in the pan and stir.
-Let the mixture come to a boil.
-Once the mixture comes to a boil, lower the heat to medium low and put a lid or foil on pan.
-Cook for 25 minutes.
-DO NOT STIR WHILE COOKING!
-Once the mixture is done and the rice is cooked, stir the jambalaya and serve
