Gordon Strachan on Old Firm - Stein told me I had to 'beat people' and so does Jota - Off The Record

Gordon Strachan believes Celtic fans favourite Jota has one job when his side face up to Rangers at Hampden this weekend - and that is to BEAT PEOPLE.

The former Hoops boss knows all about that role from his own playing days and recalled how Jock Stein made it quite clear to him - in no uncertain terms, what was expected of him while on international duty with Scotland back in the day.

Strachan joined Record Sports's Keith Jackson and David McCarthy for an Off The Record podcast special ahead of the big Scottish Cup semi-final derby clash at Hampden on Sunday.
