How the Only Roman Catholic Parish in Gaza is Holding Up Amidst War | EWTN News Nightly

As the war rages on between Israel and Hamas, the humanitarian crisis grows. In Gaza city, sits the only Roman Catholic parish in the Gaza strip, Holy Family Church. But now, not only is it a place of worship, it is also a place of refuge. Currently about 500 Christian refugees who have been displaced by the war are seeking shelter there and the numbers keep growing. Director of Outreach for Aid to the Church in Need, Ed Clancy, joins to tell us about the parish and the challenges they are facing right now. Clancy shares what the biggest needs are and how difficult it is to get aid into that area right now. Israel has urged civilians to get out of Gaza because of the war and the impending ground invasion. That said, Clancy is in contact with many of the faithful over there.
