A volcanic eruption just began in Iceland, sending lava flows into the coastal town of Grindavik. This has already destroyed 3 structures, and sadly more are likely to join this total. The race is now on to divert the advancing lava flows into an area where it would be fairly harmless. Lava is currently erupting at an estimated rate of 30 cubic meters per second.
