Castle Master - Atari ST / STE

In this video, Castle Master, released in 1990 for the Atari ST by Domark. We are a prince or a princess and, while the "not chosen one" is kidnapped by a dragon to Castle Eternity, the "chosen one" must go on a mission to rescue her/him and to kill the boss spirit Magister. The castle is filled with riddles and traps, keys and monsters, food and pentacles. Our only weapon is an unlimited supply of rocks and our strenght, shown as a barbell, which also indicates our health. Castle master has a first person view, powered by Incentive software's Freescape engine, the same engine that had been used for Driller, Dark Side and Total Eclipse. The 3D is fast also thanks to rough graphics and a small playing window. The audio sports a digitalized music intro and digitized sound fx. Playability and difficulty are ok. If you like adventures with riddles to solve, this game is for you. Here you'll find digitized music intro and gameplay with little exploration here and there.
