The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is the latest addition to Royal Enfield’s lineup, sharing its platform with the Super Meteor 650 but offering a distinct blend of cruiser and custom styles. Key features of the Shotgun 650 include a 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces around 46 bhp and 39 ft-lb of torque. The bike is designed with a shorter wheelbase and a taller seat height of 795mm, contributing to a more upright and sporty riding position compared to its sibling, the Super Meteor .
The Shotgun 650 is equipped with a non-adjustable 43mm Showa USD fork and twin rear shocks with five-step preload adjustment. It features an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear tire setup, providing a balance between comfort and handling. The bike’s weight stands at approximately 240 kg (529 lbs) with a full tank, slightly lighter than the Super Meteor .
Standard equipment includes dual-channel ABS, a center stand, an LED headlamp, and Royal Enfield’s Tripper navigation system, which links to a smartphone via Bluetooth. The Shotgun 650 also offers customization options, such as a removable pillion seat that can be converted into a luggage rack
