T009.0 Mt. Dew, 1960 Ad, "It's Ready"

T009, T010 & T011 are the first national ads for Mountain Dew from the Tip Corporation. These were the "Thar's a bang in every bottle" Ads.  Pepsi had not purchased Mountain Dew yet from the Tip Corporation (it was purchased in 1964) so these ads are pre-Pepsi. Notice the difference in appearance between Tip's Willy in these ads and Pepsi's Willy in ads when Pepsi acquired Tip. These ads are from the collection of Phil Dillman.
