Prior to a 1978 NFL
Prior to a 1978 NFL game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets, head coach Walt Michaels, for some inexplicable reason, said that the Cowboys didn't have any heart, and criticized Tony Dorsett and Hollywood Henderson by saying that he didn't know who they were. Unsurprisingly, the Cowboys proceeded to destroy the Jets. This is the story behind what might be the stupidest moment by a head coach in the history of the New York Jets
