Episode 64 - Using your available mics to record double bass

In episode 16, I put thingslike U87s and other really nice mics on a double bass. I'd actually recorded another double bass episode before this, where I used far more common mics to record the double bass, but I lost the files. I've found them today - so I've taken the video and the audio clips and put them into this episode - just a very wide variety of mics, so you can see how they do if you don't own a 'posh' mic, but do have things like SM57s or even those very common and pretty er, basic, Chinese BM800s that are everywhere at Big Mac Meal prices! Hopefully, you'll hear how most mics will do a pretty OK job - and with EQ can happily record a bass.
