Leapmotor, the company owned by
Leapmotor, the company owned by Stellantis, presented the new electric SUV worth 22,000 dollars. The C16 model is powered by the 280-horsepower electric motor. The 68-kilowatt-hour battery pack allows the vehicle to travel over 300 miles on a single charge.
There is also a hybrid version equipped with the 1.5-liter engine that serves exclusively as a power generator for charging the battery.
The price is announced for China and it’s obvious that the Leapmotor C16 is going to cost more on other markets. But still, the pricing is astonishing for an SUV equipped with all the modern features.
