Imlil (Toubkal) | Atlas Mountains Villages BEFORE the Earthquake

I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to drive through various villages of the Atlas Mountains before the terrible earthquake took place. Watching these videos... I can't bring myself to imagine what it must all be like today.

This is what life looked like just a year ago, at what is now the epicentre of the 2023 Earthquake.

Let me gather my thoughts about what's going on (I'm still waiting to hear back from a few friends who I met during my trips and who live in some of the most vulnerable villages in the area) and think of ways to help out. The people of Morocco need us – they really, really do.
