Footage shared by Palestinian journalists shows the moment Israeli air strikes hit the Ghazi al-Shawa school sheltering hundreds of displaced Palestinians in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza, marking Israel’s 3rd attack on a school-turned-shelter in 5 days. The Israeli military said it carried out the attack on the Ghazi al-Shawa school which they claimed to have been used as a “command and control centre” by Hamas operatives. At least 5 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli attack on the Shuhada al-Zeitoun school on Saturday, while an attack on the UN-run al-Jaouni school in Nuseirat refugee camp on Wednesday had killed 18 Palestinians, including 6 UN staff members.
