2nd - 4th grade Make a Matisse: Portraits

This video is long because it is actually 3 session or chapters put together.  This is one of my first videos so I was still working out the kinks (like don't film live in front of the students :-)
The lesson is a study in Henri Matisse's 2 styles of art.  1st we make a collage like him and then on top we make a simple portrait in his style.
Materials Needed:
12x12 white construction paper
lots of scrapes of colored construction paper
scissors
glue
black liquid tempera paint
1/4 inch tempera paint brush
