Sir Keir Starmer surrounded by mob of protesters outside parliament

Two people were arrested after Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer was surrounded by a mob near Parliament and had to be driven away in a police car.

In video footage posted on social media, Sir Keir is seen walking near to Parliament surrounded by police officers as he was confronted by a group, some of whom repeated a slur about Jimmy Savile first used by Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the House of Commons.
