This video is a tour of Schaumburg Il. I take a tour of many features of Schaumburg Il like Schaumburg parks, Schaumburg Schools, Schaumburg restaurants, and dining shopping in Schaumburg Il(WoodField Mall has been a travel destination for a long time!), things to do in Schaumburg and different neighborhoods with homes for any budget. There are many great reason Schaumburg Illinois is a great place to live...decent taxes, great schools and a lot of things to do. The one thing I personally don't like about Schaumburg Il is there really is no downtown, but other than that there many good reasons to live in town!
I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic and a FULL TIME Real Estate Broker. I've lived in Schaumburg Il for close to 20 years and have first hand knowledge of the town and why it's a great place to live. The schools have exceeded expectations for my two boys, and the location has been very convenient for my wife and I with our jobs and traveling around the Chicago metropolitan area. The proximity to the highways, Metra and O'Hare airport has served us well!
This video went a little longer than expected..but there is so much to see in town. Schaumburg Il quite large for a suburb with over 75K people living in town and a daytime population around 150K! Despite the high population, the neighborhoods are quiet and well kept!
The Village of Schaumburg Il offers many great services. The Schaumburg Fire Department and Police Department are both highly trained and professional when it comes protecting residents and visitors to Schaumburg Il. The Schaumburg Park District has many nice facilities that have excellent workout facilities and outdoor/indoor swimming pools. There are events that are put on throughout the year from Spring Valley Nature Center and the Village of Schaumburg. Septemberfest is a large outdoor festival over Labor Day weekend that brings in guests from all over the area.
