Geriatric care is crucial, as it’s a delicate and beautiful stage of their lives. Meet Tatzi (Hong), the oldest moon bear amongst our three sanctuaries in Vietnam and China. Now in his mid-30s, Tatzi is living his best retirement alongside his old friends, Vicki and Eclipse. Together, they enjoy the peace and care that our team lovingly provides. Caring for elderly bears is much like caring for an old family member—health monitoring, special attention, and heartwarming moments that remind us why we do this work.
