Here's a guide on how to get your MPCNC doing it's first job!  I'll walk you through connecting, moving the machine with Repetier Host buttons and g code commands, auto-squaring, setting your coordinate system to 0,0, and executing your first job.

I only finished my machine less than a week ago and have only run a handful of jobs since then.  Since the "beginner lessons" are still fresh in my mind, I wanted to make a video for my fellow beginners to help get you started.

First, follow all the instructions on the V1 Engineering website and install all the appropriate software.  Here I'm using Repetier Host to control my machine through the USB port.  I've already installed all the appropriate software and drivers.  I've also already checked to make sure my machine moves in the correct directions when I give it commands.

Important note!  My machine has Dual End-Stops installed and I've already done a few test drawings/plots with the pen to make sure they were calibrated to square.  You'll want to do that if you have dual end-stops.  If you don't have dual end-stops, you can skip the squaring steps involving G28.  You'll instead want to physical make sure you gantry is square before you start the job.

Lastly, your first jobs should definitely be with a pen plotter, not a router, unless you know what you're doing.  Try to draw the crown or a couple other things.  I made a quick drawing with some circles and rectangles of known length so I could measure how accurate and square my machine was before I strapped the router on.  Practicing with the pen is very forgiving.  Take your time and go slow so you don't crash the machine or the tool into something!
