In this video we cover the core components of an automated licensing system, and provide a general overview of the easiest way to license your app. When licensing your app, there is a trade-off between rapid deployment and licensing obfuscation (e.g. using encryption) as simple licensing systems, which are often hands-off, often make increasing the complexity of licence validation super difficult as they make it near impossible to implement an intermediate licensing server.
My recommendation is getting your app up and running first, and then improving licensing complexity at a later stage. After all, what's the point of spending so much time on a system when no one is using the app 🤔. I hope this doesn't sound too farfetched because as you continue improving app features, you'll create new releases which can enforce any licensing system changes.
