In this video I’ll be explaining Retail Life Cycle Theory -- from Introduction to Decline.
This cycle has four distinct stages: Introduction, Growth, Maturity, and Decline. We’ll take a look at examples of each of these stages in action. Like Amazon Go, who is introducing themselves into the market. Or companies such as JC Penny that are on the Decline.
We’ll also look at the example of Blockbuster which followed the cycle through until its demise in 2013 and the rise of Netflix into the marketplace.
