As soon as the trailer of Inside Out 2 animation was released, it divided the fans into two again. If you remember, there was a famous theory that suggested that Riley was actually an LGBT person, and the trailer has a detail that supports this theory. First of all, in the first movie, while the emotions of all characters except Riley are the same as the gender of their owners, three of Riley's five emotions are female and two are male. In addition, the fact that Riley was depicted in LGBT colors and that she played Ice Hockey, a sport dominated by men, at the end of the movie, strengthened this theory. In the latest trailer, the Anxiety seems to be non-binary. The character has a very androgynous voice. At the same time, her hair does not have a style specific to men or women. Her clothing is prepared in line with the fashion of queer or non-binary individuals. So it sounds like Pixar might be designing Riley to be genderless underneath.
