Maritozzo is Italian sweet bread
Maritozzo is Italian sweet bread stuffed with cream. The bun is sliced in half, then stuffed with whipped cream. This sweet is from the Lazio region and can be found in many pastry shops in Rome—in some of them they'll stuff it for you on the spot.
