Black Rock Torch Lighting/Cliff Diving Ceremony-Maui

The Torch Lighting and Cliff Diving Ceremony takes place at Black Rock at Ka'anapali Beach in Maui. Legend has it that the last king of Maui proved his spiritual strength by leaping from the rock. This ceremony has taken place in the rear of the Sheraton Maui since 1963.
