Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei earlier on Saturday called on Muslims "to stand by the people of Lebanon and the proud Hezbollah with whatever means they have and assist them in confronting the ... wicked regime (of Israel)".
Echoing their supreme leader’s “revenge” rhetoric Iranians took to streets on Saturday in Tehran.
Palestinians also marched and chanted in mourning of the killing of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Saturday.
While for residents in Lebanon, a country which has suffered years of war people expressed mixed views, however.
Turkey's foreign minister said on Saturday (September 28) that Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was an important figure for Lebanon and the region and would be hard to replace.
